Boucher's The Interrupted Sleep caught my eye while passing through the museum. Great frame, great painting, interseting composition, (possible Dutch influence?) love the fashion and the animals all add to it! A fun fact about this piece was that it originally was displayed at Madame de Pompadour's Château de Bellevue. So think of all the people this painting has seen, or all that have seen this painting!
