  1. Loved, loved, loved it! There's a link to Gossip Guide on my blog bc I'm a largely uninformed, but very interested, Marie Antoinette fan. The M A related women on your UTube are familar to me but now I need to research the others. So much to learn, so little time! Oh, and, wrong century, but how about the ill-fated wives of Henry the VIII? Fascinating!

  2. @Madeleine:"So much to learn, so little time!" It is soo true! Heather and I are constantly talking about how there is so little time to read so many books and research so many things.... *le sigh* !

-and Tudor ladies would require a whole fabulous blog of their own!

  3. So fabulous! I love the dresses and jewelry soooo much. Isn't it interesting how our perceptions of beauty have changed over the centuries? Certainly few of them would be considered today as being 'beautiful', yet they were stunning in their times.
*sigh* to walk down the corridors of Versailles with silk dresses whispering all around me *swoon*

  4. Wow it took me a while to place that song, I hadn't heard it in a long time! That was a fun video and interesting how she used Tudor portraits in between.
