  1. I have to confess I like them, but that's probably because I like in a climate that they couldn't possibly be worn and Mr Darcy just sells it!

  2. Personally, I love these, although none of the menfolk in my circle of acquaintances is likely to be seen wearing them :( They're all either too poor to consider buying such a thing, or completely disinclined to have anything to do with fashion!

Yes please! Would that frocks and cravats returned to fashion. It would be a lot easier than inventing a time machine.

  5. Definitely jay! Unfortunately I assume, those designs will not make it to the highstreet shops. :(

  6. Yes! I love frocks [in fact I wear one regularly], I think they add a bit of elegance to any outfit with their longer line and smooth drape.

I'm glad they're coming back some [or at least getting some press]

  7. nay, they look like costumes, not clothes. I think they would wear the man and not the other way around.

  9. I love them--especially the dark with velvet collars. I could NEVER talk my husband into them, though.

  10. I would be all over a man in a coat like that. I am such a sucker for men in fashionable attire.

  14. Definitely yes! Matthew MacFadyen wears it best, with the open shirt, the boots, the mist . . . yes.

But when my husband puts one on, he looks more like a mobster than a Darcy. :D

  20. Matthew MacFadyen is the hottest Darcy of all time, IMHO. I think Mr. Darcy is a sexy literary character, period, but Matthew just rocks it.
On the fashion pix, though, it's hard to weigh in. I love the creative concept of fashion, but I detest the industry and that always prevents me from getting on board with it. The little pups under Matthew, for instance, are just a big yawn in my book.
