How to Enter:
For this giveaway I am trying out the PunchTab giveaway widget. It allows extra entries which is pretty cool (and keeps everything organized pour moi!)

Simply enter by email or your Facebook account.
Once you have entered there are seven options for extra entries you will be presented with (tweet, share, follow the usual! Just pick and choose any you want).  The giveaway widget will track how many times you have entered.

The giveaway starts now, and you may enter through midnight September 14th.  I will post the winner on Monday September 16th.

Thanks for reading, and good luck!
~Lauren

Oh, the architecture is grande in the 18th century. Just think of the many many styles, like with clothing styles in the 17th.
First you have the neat and still classically influenced baroque which turns into full bloom later, before rocoquo gets his turn, only to be completly turned over by neoclassicism.
Thanks for this beautiful giveaway for us,
    Bea

  18. I love the music and the portraits of the 18th century. I love Mozart's music, and I love looking at European portraits (including the miniatures). I find it fascinating how the artist translates the fabric and details of the garments of the wearer and can depict the textures.

  21. Impossible to make a list of what I love about the 18th century! I can give a very general answer like French history, arts and litterature.

I'll go with Marie Antoinette and everything and everyone who was around her.

  24. I love so many things about the 18th century and am studying it at CECS in York atm. If I had to pick I'd say the propaganda and the print culture, it captures the scandal and debate throughout the century so fantastically!
