Christian Louboutin + Marie Antoinette + Dita Von Teese

Here we have Dita Von Teese channeling her inner 18th century persona, wearing a Vivienne Westwood dress, complete with the pannier look and snug bodice, in a light blue etoile pattern.  The look is completed with Christian Louboutin's amazing Marie Antoinette inspired shoes.

  1. I have had that dress in my 'to recreate' sewing folder ever since the first time I saw it. So perfect

    Love the dress. I may have to make a similar one for my niece. I also love that Ms. Von Teese takes care of her skin and does not fall into the "tanning trap".

  3. @Miss Tami Lee Oh I know a few gals that would be interseted if you peddeled such frocks!

    @Patricia agreed!

    @basket[case] & @Anne Boleyn :D me too! I would get the shoes in pink for sure, although blue is nice too

    I am quite in love! This is definitely a look I would love to recreate for the spring. She captures the essence of 18th century styling without it looking costumey or cutesy (like lolita styles).

  8. I love those shoes but I would probably break an ankle trying to wear them.

  9. I like the dress and love the shoes, but not together. Also, being a designer who cut his teeth during a toile craze, I guess I'm still not ready to fall back in love with it, classic though it may be. Meh.

  12. I have been drooling over those shoes ever since I first saw them on "The Fashion Police"-blog! I wish I was a rich girl and could buy them (I came over a pair in my size on eBay once, but the price was insane, though it is understandable as there only exists 36 (?) pairs)
    Dita von Teese is such a beautiful and classy woman, I adore her.
